Twitter Ban In Nigeria Aimed To Conceal Evidence Of Rights Abuse By Security Operatives – IPOB

IPOB PRESS RELEASE

June 05 2021 | IPOB
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, condemns federal government of Nigeria for suspending Twitter platform in Nigeria for no justifiable reason. Twitter committed no crime in its courage to pull down President Muhammadu Buhari’s genocidal threat against Ndigbo and Biafrans in general.
This wicked action of the Fulani-controlled federal government is nothing but a that Nigeria is under hostage by Islamic fundamentalists and terror apologists.
This is a further proof that Buhari is a tyrant and dictator whose only agenda is how to Fulanise and Islamise Nigeria.

Buhari is fully out to suppress and gag the press so that his atrocities will be concealed but he only succeeded in exposing his ignorance and autocratic tendencies. World leaders should not allow Buhari’s wicked regime to continue to clamp down on the free press. His aim is to conceal evidence of extra-judicial killings, rights abuse and other atrocities of his wicked regime.
The tyrant Buhari was not the only President to be sanctioned by Twitter for posting hate speech but none of them ever shutdown the platform in their country. As powerful as the former US President Donald Trump was, he never ordered for the pulling down of Twitter platform from US when the social media giant suspended his account.
We, therefore, call on world leaders to come to our rescue because Fulani terrorists have taken over Nigeria with the tacit support of Buhari’s regime. Killing of innocent citizens, abduction for ransom and extra judicial killings by security agencies are the order of the day. These are the things Buhari wants to hide away from the eyes of the world by suspending Twitter. He will soon suspend Facebook and other media platforms. Time to stop Buhari’s oppressive tendencies is now!
